Yshai Oliel and his team were greatly honored when excelling Serbian tennis player, Novak Djokovic, ranked two in the world, has selected the Davis Squad player to be his training opponent towards the Serbian team game at the quarter finals of the Davis Cup opposite Spain.

Djokovic was looking for a left-handed player and received a recommendation of the Israeli player from the tennis academy in France, where Yshai was practicing. He invited him to Belgrade, where the Davis Cup meeting took place, and has funded flights and accommodation for Yshai and his staff. Yshai arrived accompanied by his coach Jan Pochter and fitness trainer Guy Gafni, has practiced with Djokovic and his team and has served as a warm-up player before the games.
