Gur Trakhtenberg is the singles winner of the ITF tournament which took place in Tel Aviv, Gur and his David Squad friend, Halel Ashoosh, are the champions of the double’s tournament.
Gur showed a lot of character in the final when he saved 10 (!) match points to win a 3 hours dramatic final match against Amit Vales. Gur came back from set down and 2:5 in the 2nd set to win 1:6, 7:6, 7:5.
After a short rest Gur played the doubles final, with Halel Ashoosh, and the 2 David Squad players beat Itamar Tapiro and Tim Vaisman 6:3 6:4 to win the title.
