Alex Gaponenko and Shavit Kimchi are the Singles Finalists in Arad, Shavit won the Doubles

David Squad players, Alex Gaponenko and Shavit Kimchi, are the Singles Finalists of the ITF Tournament which took place at the ITC – Arad. After 9 wins in a row (including an ITF title last week in Be’er Sheva), Shavit (coach Eyal Shtern) lost in the Girls’ final 6:4, 2:6 0:6 to Maria Bondarenko from Russia. Alex (coach Victor Mordekhay) lost in the Boys’ final 3:6 2:6 to Yair Sarouk from Israel.

Shavit won the Doubles Tournament title with her partner Mika Dagan Fruchtman from Israel, after 6:3 6:1 win over Weronika Baszak (POL) and Maria Bondarenko. Roi Ginat was the finalist of the Doubles after he and Stefanos Savna from Cyprus lost in the final 2:6, 6:2, 8:10 to Samer Al tori and Yair Sarouk from Israel.
