Gur Trakhtenberg won the Israeli Championship of the Boys’ U-14

David Squad player, Gur Trakhtenberg, is the Israeli Championship 2020 winner of the Boys’ U-14 category. Gur beat Ben Chetewy Ungar 6:2 6:0 in the Israeli Junior Championship final which took place in Ra’anana. Two years ago Gur won the Israeli Champions for the U-12 category. Gur, 14 years old, who Qualified to the main draw of the Israeli Championship as well, lost 2:6 2:6 to 24 years old, Mor Bulis, who is playing in the last two years for the USC University in the U.S.

In the match for the 3-4 places in the Boys’ U-14, between two David Squad players, Eyal Shumilov beat Tim Vaisman 6:3 6:2. Halel Ashoosh finished in the 5th place after winning the consolation tournament. The coach of Gur and Tim is Andy Zingman, Eyal’s coach is Idan Mark.
