The David Squad players are dominating yet again in the TE Tournament for U-14 which took place at the ITEC – Jerusalem. Gur Trakhtenberg, won the tournament after beating his David Squad friend, Halel Ashoosh, 6:1 7:5 in the final. This was Gur’s 2nd title in a row after winning a week before in Tel Aviv. Gur and Halel made it back to back singles final, after playing each other in the Singles final a week before in Tel Aviv as well. In the Semifinal Gur beat Milan Matovic from Serbia 6:1 6:0 and Helal beat our David Squad player, Eyal Shumilov, 6:1 6:1. Tim Vaisman lost in the 1/4 final.
Gur and Halel won the Doubles Tournament as well after beating Maksim Potenko (UKR) and Nikita Sclearenco (CYP) 7:6 6:1 in the final. Eyal SHumilov and Tim Vaisman lost in the semifinal. Good job to our players and our coaches Andy Zingman, Jan Pochter and Dan Eros.
